I will be directing Marc Acito's Birds of a Feather at New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco.


JANUARY 2013

I will be directing Garret Groenveld and Don Seaver's musical The Slow Waking at Berkeley Rep on Monday January 21st, 2013 as part of Playground's Musical Month.


JULY 2012

My short play Put it on Vibrate will be performed at the SF Theatre Pub's Pint Sized Plays in July. It will be directed by Julia Heitner and it includes sex toys and beer. What's not to like?


JUNE 2012

A short play of mine, Bench, Slightly Left will be produced by the 06 Ensemble, directed by Jeffrey Lo on Saturday June 30, 2012 at Dragon Theatre. All proceeds will benefit the East Bay Children's Book Project.


APRIL 2012

I'm producing a benefit for AFER entitled Marriage Equality Plays that will be held June 11, 2012 at the Bayfront Theater at Fort Mason. Six incredible local playwrights, WIlliam Bivins, Michelle Carter, Garret Groenveld, Lauren Gunderson, Peter Nachtrieb and Lauren Yee are writing original short plays. It is going to be amazing! Tom was awarded a NextGen Arts Professional Development Grant for emerging arts leaders, which can be used for eligible individuals to take workshops, attend conferences or work with career coaches or management consultants.

A concert version of the new musical comedy
American Family, written with my writing partner David Dabbon, will be presented Oct. 18 at the Duplex in Manhattan. The 7 PM concert will feature the talents of Sally Wilfert, George Dvorsky, Cait Doyle, Danny Calvert and Amy Nicole Polumbo. David Alpert directs.
